Setting up payouts with Stripe
Before you can list, you set up payouts so we know where to send your earnings. We use Stripe, the same payment platform that powers checkout for buyers.
How it works
From your seller dashboard, choose Set up payouts. You'll be handed off to Stripe's secure, hosted onboarding to enter your details. When Stripe confirms your account is ready, you come back to the dashboard and can post your first listing.
It takes a few minutes, and you only do it once.
What Stripe asks for
Stripe collects the information it needs to pay you and to meet its own legal requirements — typically your name, date of birth, bank account, and identity details. Most individual sellers set up as a person, not a business.
We never see or store your bank or identity details — they go straight to Stripe. The Aisle Exchange only ever stores whether your account is ready to be paid.
Why it's required to list
A live listing can sell at any moment, so we need a payout destination on file first. Until your payout account is ready, the "post your listing" step stays locked.
Having trouble finishing setup? Use "Refresh status" on your dashboard first (Stripe can take a few minutes to confirm), then email contact@theaisleexchange.com.
